Frequently asked questions
-
Are ten days enough to visit all three regions?
It is possible, but it will be a rush: almost half the time will be spent travelling. In ten days, it is better to choose one region, or two neighbouring regions such as the North and the Centre.
-
Domestic flight or train between stages?
For long distances (Hanoi – Da Nang, Da Nang – Saigon), fly: about an hour and a half. The night train suits those who have more time and want to enjoy the scenery.
-
Can the itinerary be tailored to your wishes?
Yes. The itineraries shown here are outline plans; VNCT member travel agencies adjust the number of nights, the hotels and the guides to suit your wishes.
-
Which are the best months for a ten-day trip?
March–April and October–November suit most itineraries: little rain in the North and the Centre alike. See also the “When to go?” page.
